Maison Vesper is a young house with old friends. We are designers, tailors, leather workers, and editors — small in number, careful with what we make.
Founder's note
“I wanted a wardrobe that didn't shout. So I built one.”
Vesper began with a coat — a coat I could not find in any city I lived in. So I went to Biella, walked into a third-generation woollen mill, and asked. The mill said yes; the coat became a collection; the collection became the house.
We work with seven small ateliers across Italy, Portugal, and Spain. We don't change workshops between seasons. We don't sell what we don't wear.

Biella, Italy
Tailored coats and trousers on vintage looms. A small workshop, family-owned for three generations.
Tuscany, Italy
Vegetable-tanned leathers, hand-stitched bags and shoes. Edges burnished in eight passes.
Como, Italy
Silks, hand-printed and hand-rolled. Done in small batches, on heavy-weight twill.
Porto, Portugal
Trenches in waxed cotton, poplin shirts, organic cotton knits — finished with quiet hardware.
Alicante, Spain
Ankle boots, mules, hand-lasted on Spanish lasts with leather and rubber soles.
London, UK
Fine jewelry in recycled gold vermeil and silver. Designed and cast in a Hackney studio.
Materials
What we work with.
Italian wool
Double-face virgin wool from Biella mills. Heavier than most — 600 to 720 g/m² — for posture and warmth.
Mongolian cashmere
Grade-A long-fibre cashmere, knitted in Italy. We knit slightly heavier than the high-street default.
Vegetable-tanned leather
Tuscan calf, tanned with tree bark over weeks, not chemicals over hours. Develops a patina with wear.
Mulberry silk
16–19 momme silk twill and satin, printed in Como. Hand-rolled hems on every scarf.
Egyptian poplin
Long-staple cotton, woven in Portugal. A shirt that ages well over fifty washes.
Recycled gold vermeil
Solid sterling silver, plated in 22-carat recycled gold. Cast in small batches in London.

Returns
14-day returns from delivery, in original condition. Items return free within Europe via prepaid label.

Made-to-measure
Tailoring and shoes can be made-to-measure with an in-person appointment in Milan or London.
